Important: The SavePoint program itself collects NO user data. Data collection only occurs on our website for essential functionality.

• License Validation: Hardware fingerprint (provided by user; anonymized) for license activation only
• Crash Reports: Only if you manually send them from the program - no automatic transmission
• Purchase Information (Website): Username, email address, billing address, and payment details through our payment processor for license delivery, account management, and order fulfillment
• Website Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data on our website (NOT the program) to improve site performance and user experience
• Email Notifications (Opt-In Only): If you choose to opt-in, we collect your email address for product updates, newsletters, and promotional content. You can unsubscribe anytime

Your Data Storage

All your financial data is stored locally on your device. Data files remain on your computer and are never synchronized or backed up to cloud services. You maintain complete ownership and control of your financial information.

License Grant & Scope

SavePoint is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software on up to two devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use.

• Two-device licensing: Your purchase includes activation codes for two devices. Hardware replacement license available once every two years for the same software version.
• Offline operation: The program operates locally without requiring internet for ordinary use
• Rights reservation: We retain all rights not expressly granted to you

Permitted & Prohibited Uses

Privacy & Local Data

SavePoint core program stores your data locally on your device and operates offline-first with all features available. We do not receive or collect your personal financial data by default. Upon release, an optional online-capable version may have additional features requiring online connectivity, but expectation is for local and online versions to have the same core features when possible. You are solely responsible for securing your device, setting strong passwords, enabling disk encryption, making regular backups, and preventing unauthorized access.

Calculation & Modeling Limitations

IMPORTANT: While we make every effort to validate all calculations, errors may exist as with any software. Users must independently verify all calculations and results before making financial decisions. We are not liable for incorrect calculations or modeling outputs.

• Assumptions: Outputs depend on your inputs and modeling methods (expected returns, inflation, SWR/guardrails, volatility)
• Market uncertainty: Simulations reflect hypothetical distributions and may not capture real-world tail risks
• Tax simplifications: Tax estimates are simplified and may be inaccurate for your jurisdiction

License Controls & Security

SavePoint includes technical measures to verify activation, decrypt protected assets, and enforce license scope. Attempts to circumvent, disable, or modify license checks void your license. Hardware replacement licenses are provided once every two years for the same software version. Transfer requests may be denied in our sole discretion.

THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, PERFORMANCE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CALCULATIONS, ANALYTICS, AND OUTPUTS MAY BE WRONG OR UNSUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE PROGRAM IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR US $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

Governing Law & Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of state and federal courts located in New Jersey for any disputes.

SavePoint provides calculations, projections, and analysis tools, but does not constitute financial advice. The software's output should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions. Always consult with qualified financial advisors, tax professionals, or investment experts before making significant financial choices.

Calculation Limitations

Our Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) tools use Monte Carlo simulations and historical data to project retirement scenarios. These are educational projections only and should not be considered guaranteed outcomes. Software License

SavePoint is licensed software. Purchase grants you a perpetual, non-transferable license to use the software on up to two devices. You may generate up to one license key for the same software version every two years to account for hardware replacement.

• Small business owner personal finance (separate from business)
• Family financial planning coordination

Prohibited Use

• Commercial financial advisory services without appropriate licensing
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the software

Limitation of Liability

SavePoint is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for financial losses, investment decisions, or any consequences resulting from software use. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the software license.

Updates and Support

Your current license includes all minor updates, bug fixes, and features for the purchased version throughout the product lifecycle. New versions may have features not available in previous versions. We provide reasonable technical support for licensed users, but do not guarantee specific response times or resolution of all issues.

Community Access

Discord community access is available to all users. Licensed users receive up to 12 months access to premium server features with a purchased license. Access may be renewed with a new license purchase or standalone renewal. Users must follow community guidelines and rules. Violation of community rules may result in removal from Discord servers without refund of license fees or community access costs.

Refund Policy

Due to our primary software being 100% offline-first, we unfortunately cannot offer traditional refunds. However, we provide comprehensive video demonstrations, detailed feature documentation, and a lightweight demo sandbox to help you make an informed decision. License keys are deactivated upon any refund processing.
