User Feature Requests: Most Requested Capabilities

One of the things we value most at SavePoint is transparency. We try to speak in plain language, provide clear information about what our software can and cannot do, and let our users guide our development. Today we want to share what you have been asking for and how we prioritize building new features.

How We Collect Feedback

SavePoint users have several ways to share what they want to see. Our Discord community has dedicated channels for feature requests and discussion. Licensed users get access to premium channels where they can vote on development priorities. We also receive feedback through support emails and community discussions. Every request gets logged and considered.

Most Requested Features

Looking at our feature request data, several categories consistently rise to the top. Here is what SavePoint users are asking for most:

💡 Top Feature Request Categories

Advanced Security: Hardware key integration, biometric authentication, enhanced encryption options

Multi-Currency Enhancements: Better currency hedging analysis, international tax scenarios, regional compliance features

Family and Household Features: Shared budgets for couples, joint account management, permission-based access

Financial Calculators: Debt payoff strategies, compound interest tools, loan comparisons, what-if scenario modeling

How We Prioritize

Building software takes time, and we cannot do everything at once. Our prioritization considers several factors. How many users are requesting it? How does it align with our core mission of privacy-first, offline-capable financial management? What is the technical complexity? Does it help users make better financial decisions?

Features that maintain our offline-first commitment get priority. We believe your financial tools should work without an internet connection, and we will not compromise that principle for convenience. Any feature requiring online connectivity is offered as optional, not required.

What We Are Working On

Our current development focus includes enhanced security features that give users more control over how their data is protected. We are also expanding international support with additional languages and better handling of multi-currency portfolios. The financial calculator suite is in active development, bringing tools like debt payoff calculators and compound interest projections directly into SavePoint.

What We Will Not Build

Transparency means being honest about limitations too. We will not build features that compromise user privacy or require sharing financial data with third parties. We will not add features that only work with a subscription. And we will not add complexity just for the sake of having more features. SavePoint is meant to be powerful without being overwhelming.

Your Voice Matters

User feedback genuinely shapes what we build. The features in development right now are there because real users asked for them. If you want to influence SavePoint's future, the best way is to participate in our community and share what would make the software more useful for your situation.
