The new LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle set just dropped for pre-order. It costs $129.99. With some smart stacking, you can get it for around $25 to $40 out of pocket! It requires the power of offsetting using a few very smart deals. As a fan myself, finally a set I cannot resist!

Details on the set:

LEGO 77093: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle

The Strategy: Capital One Shopping Portal Offset

Capital One Shopping offers two ways to save on this purchase:

1. Referral Sign-Up Bonus: $80

New Capital One Shopping members can get an $80 bonus when they sign up through a referral link and make a qualifying purchase. This alone covers most of the set.

2. LEGO Cashback: 8% to 19%

Capital One Shopping offers cashback on LEGO.com purchases. The rate is personalized and may be different for everyone. But there is only one way to find out, and that is to sign up for Capital One and visit Lego with the browser extension installed. At least by my own luckyI received an 8% and 19% offer (varies depending on the type of product, which is up the air on how it will be classified after purchase.

If classified as an "Exclusive Item", At 8%: $10.40 back

If classified as "Everything else", At 19%: $24.70 back

Total Savings Breakdown

💰 Your Final Cost

Set Price: $129.99

Referral Bonus: -$80.00

Cashback (8% to 19%): -$10.40 to -$24.70

Your Cost: $25.29 to $39.59

That is 70% to 80% off a brand new LEGO set that has not even released yet. And of course, don't forget the value of your credit card points.

How to Stack These Deals

Get a Capital One Shopping referral link (see below)

Sign up as a new member

Shop LEGO.com through the Capital One Shopping portal

Purchase the Zelda set

Receive your $80 bonus plus cashback

Where to Find Referral Links

While we cannot post links here, there are many in our deals community who would be happy to share their referral code. If you do not have one, join our Discord where members share deals and referrals, among other finance tips.

Fine Print

The $80 referral bonus is for new Capital One Shopping members only. Cashback rates fluctuate, so check the current rate before purchasing. Rewards are typically issued as credits that can be redeemed for gift cards.

Final Verdict

For Zelda fans, this set recreates the iconic final battle from the iconic videogame. I personally have not owned a Lego set since I was a kid, despite them being really artfully crafted. This one, for me, moved the needle instantly. With the offset, I am 100% sold. (Even without the offset, I was sold!)

Update 7/13/26 - See our latest blog post for an update to this deal.

Quick deal for coffee and tea drinkers: Panera Bread is offering their Unlimited Sip Club free for 3 months.

💡 The Deal

What: 3 free months of Unlimited Sip Club (normally $14.99/month)

Code: 3MOSIPS

Includes: Unlimited coffee, fountain drinks, lemonade, and tea

Where: Apply at Panera.com or in the Panera app

How It Works

The Sip Club lets you get one free drink every 2 hours during your visit. That covers their full drip coffee menu, iced coffee, hot tea, iced tea, lemonade, and fountain drinks like Pepsi products.

If you stop at Panera a few times a week for coffee, this saves real money. A medium coffee runs around $3. Even twice a week adds up to $25 or more per month.

⚠️ New Subscribers Only

This code is for new Sip Club members. If you have had a Sip Club subscription before, the code will not work on your account.

Alternative Offer

If the free code does not work for you, Panera is also running a $5/month deal for 3 months (plus tax). This offer ends January 14th and is available on their website. Still a solid discount from the regular $14.99 price.

Worth It?

If you already go to Panera regularly like I do, this is a great deal and free money. Sign up, get your drinks, and cancel before the 3 months end if you do not want to continue at full price. They sometimes have discounts for continuing members.

If you do not go to Panera, do not let a deal create a new habit. Free subscriptions only save money if you were going to spend that money anyway.

That said, if you work near a Panera or pass one on your commute, 3 free months of coffee is hard to beat. Or since we are in January, even 3 free months of Bubly Lime is not a terrible idea :)
