The SavePoint software itself collects zero data. It operates entirely on your computer and your financial information is never transmitted anywhere. A free SavePoint account (email and name) is required to download the trial so we can deliver it to you and let you know about updates, but the software itself stays offline. The full version is also fully offline.

Looking Ahead: Version 1.5

We are already hard at work on the next major update. Version 1.5 will introduce Tags and Households, among other features. Tags will let you label any transaction (reimbursables, tax-deductible spending, vacation budgets, projects, or anything that cuts across your normal categories), with 15+ default tags included. Households will bring account owners and per-member filtering across Budget, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Reports for couples, families, and roommates. More on that soon.
