SavePoint Mac Version Released
SavePoint is now available for macOS. If you've been running Windows or waiting for Mac support, the wait is over.
Same Features, Different Platform
The Mac version includes everything from the Windows release: full budgeting system, FIRE planning with Monte Carlo simulations, balance sheet tracking, cash flow analysis, Sankey diagrams, and all 10+ report types. Your financial data stays on your Mac, never touching our servers or any cloud service.
Mac System Requirements
Operating System: macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
Processor: Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel
RAM: 4GB minimum, 8GB recommended
Storage: 2GB available space
Internet: Required only for initial license activation
A Note on macOS Security
SavePoint is distributed outside the Mac App Store. When you first launch the application, macOS may show a security warning because the app isn't from an "identified developer" in Apple's ecosystem.
To open SavePoint: Right-click (or Control-click) the application icon and select "Open" from the context menu. You'll see a dialog asking if you're sure. Click "Open" to proceed. You only need to do this once.
We chose not to distribute through the App Store to maintain complete control over the software and avoid the restrictions Apple places on App Store applications. This also keeps our costs lower, which we pass on through pricing.
Getting Started
Download SavePoint from our website. After installation, you'll need your license key for activation. If you purchased SavePoint previously, your existing license works on Mac. Our license allows installation on up to two devices, so you can run SavePoint on both Mac and Windows if needed.
Transferring data between Mac and Windows versions works through export and import. Export your database from one platform and import it on the other. Your complete financial history moves with you.
Download for Mac
SavePoint for macOS is available now. Same privacy-first approach, same powerful features, native Mac experience.
